Administrator AI generation trial
Story-first generation, automatic safety checks, canonical fictional character references, recoverable page generation, bounded retries and immutable trial proof snapshots are connected for signed-in administrators. Real children’s photos remain blocked because private-before-moderation image output is not verified.
Production proof approval
Server-enforced immutable revisions and asset manifests must replace the editable browser snapshot before any checkout handoff. A local hash is not a secure production approval.
ToyGenie Shopify checkout
Connected: a raw-body HMAC-verified Shopify order webhook matches paid orders to their book, with duplicate-event protection and order reconciliation.
PDF & print fulfilment
Connected: paid orders are submitted to Gelato for printing via the verified webhook. Cancellation/refund handling and broader print-rule coverage remain to be hardened.
Retention & launch readiness
A daily scheduled job now clears each book’s uploaded reference photo once the configured retention window passes. The platform has no API to delete the underlying stored file, so full storage-level purges are still handled as manual requests. Cost reporting and broader operational testing remain to be implemented.
Shopify placement
Start with a link from a ToyGenie storefront page to the published app. Embedded placement requires checking browser session behaviour and the app's embedding security settings. The demo does not install or modify your Shopify theme.
What's still open
- Full storage-level photo deletion (the platform only supports manual purge requests today).
- Cancellation/refund handling for Gelato print orders.
- Cost reporting and broader operational testing.
Credentials must be provided through secure configuration, never in a customer-facing form.
