Real photos and fictional characters

You can create a book using a real photo of your child (uploaded by a parent or legal guardian) or a fictional illustration. Uploaded photos are stored privately, used only to generate your book's artwork, and automatically deleted after 30 days or sooner once your order is complete — you can request earlier deletion at any time. All uploads pass an automated safety check before use.

Browser drafts

Your entries are stored on this device in browser storage. Other people using the same browser may be able to see them. Drafts older than seven days without an edit are hidden from the shelf; this is not a guaranteed deletion service. Use Delete on your bookshelf or clear the site's browser storage to remove browser copies.

Optional account copies

If you already have a signed-in app session, you can explicitly save fictional demo drafts to account storage. These records are restricted to their creator. Cloud copies do not expire automatically; delete them separately in the account storage section of your bookshelf.

What an approval means today

A demo approval saves a local copy of the current content and a hash. It does not authorise a payment, form a production print approval or send data to a printer.

Before live launch

Private photo processing, provider disclosures, a production privacy policy, consent records, retention jobs and deletion handling must be completed before accepting real family information. Retention settings shown in Operations are proposed configuration only.
